About our Clinics

All of our clinics specialize in teaching Complete Hockey Skills. It all starts with skating and at every clinic power skating technique is covered in great detail. Proper form is vital in developing Blazing Speed. We then repeat all skating drills with pucks to create a more game like condition.

Stickhandling for speed and control is the next step for the student’s improvement. When your confidence grows in handling the puck your passing and shooting are automatically improved. We then break down the vital elements of passing and shooting for getting the puck in the net. Our clinics are designed for the improvement of every participant on the ice. We teach all levels, all ages and all abilities.

Instructors will teach by demonstrating techniques and all the drills. Students must then execute them correctly. Students must then execute them correctly with a puck. We push our students out of their comfort level to achieve maximum confidence.

Are games or practices or clinics more important to developing skills?

The development of hockey players is determined by the ratio of practices to the number of games. Things to consider:

  • Average players have the puck 10 seconds per game

  • Average players will take 1 - 2 shots per game

  • Average players have the puck on their stick for 0.3% of the game

  • 1 practice or clinic will give a player more skill development than 12 games

The better you are at something, the more you will enjoy it, and the longer you will play.

Don’t quit due to frustration and lack of improvement.
